Our Story
Hearth Comfort was founded to give homeowners in Shaker Heights and communities east of Cleveland one trusted company for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical — without juggling three different contractors.
What Hearth Means to Us
A hearth is the floor of a fireplace — historically the warmest spot in the home, where families gathered and daily life centered. Long before we had furnaces, panels, and pipes, the hearth was where comfort began.
That is the spirit behind our name. Hearth Comfort is not a fireplace company. To us, hearth means the heart of your home: reliable heat, safe power, and plumbing that works — cared for by one direct-hire team you know and trust.
When your furnace quits on a cold night, a pipe leaks under the sink, or an outlet needs attention, those systems are what keep your home livable. We show up as your in-house team, not outside contractors, to restore comfort and peace of mind.

How We're Built
Trade work in Ohio requires licensed professionals. Hearth Comfort is a direct-hire company. Every technician who works in your home is a Hearth Comfort employee — certified, trained, and developed in-house.
We do not subcontract our services to third parties. We do not send outside contractors or referral networks to your property. When you call Hearth Comfort, the people who show up work for us.
All field work — HVAC, plumbing, and electrical — is performed by our Ohio-licensed, in-house team. Our founder handles business operations, growth, marketing, and customer experience while our employees handle technical work, permits, and code compliance.
Meet the Founder
Hearth Comfort is being built from Shaker Heights by a local founder who saw a gap in communities east of Cleveland: homeowners juggling three separate contractors for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical — with no single brand they could trust for every system in the house.
The founder brings business-building, marketing, and customer service experience to the company. Licensed journeymen and master tradespeople hired directly onto our in-house team perform all field work, pull permits, and ensure code compliance. That split lets each side focus on what they do best.
Currently in pre-launch. We are building our founding team and expect to begin serving Shaker Heights homeowners soon. All work will be performed by licensed professionals once we are fully operational.

Many of our future customers live in historic homes with boilers, older electrical panels, and aging plumbing. We understand housing east of Cleveland and the care it requires.
